Art

I work in various media, but return again and again to acrylics, watercolors, and polymer clay.

I love the uncanny, the unsettling, and the off-center. I dig into the humor of mild discomfort, something humans will go to great lengths to avoid (while it is, by nature, unavoidable). I remix anthropomorphism, folk and traditional craft motifs, and the supernatural, but ground them, best I can, in the every day and the mundane.

There's a lot of joy in the mundane.
